The month of March has arrived. This brings to my mind that the year marches on. I know the phrase is that time marches on, but you get the idea. As the third month of twelve arrives, it brings a lot of things in our area. Spring becomes official later this month, Daylight Savings Time (DST) begins next week early on the morning of March 8,2026. I look forward to that event. More daylight is always good.

There is something about a sunny sky that brings a different atmosphere (pun intended) to a day. It brings to mind clarity, purity, warmth, life, and just makes things seem brighter. The song “Tomorrow” from the musical Annie, speaks of the sun coming out and speaks of how hope will be possible.

Christians ought to have a sunny disposition all the time, no matter what the sky looks like. The Son of God brings light to this world. Followers of Jesus have a hope that is unlike any other on this earth. The Son is always present. When this is fully realized, a person will become more conscious of their faith and seek to do all they can for the Lord.

Christians are instructed to be shining lights in the darkness of this world. Doing good to as many people as we can to bring glory to God. When this is done properly more people will see His goodness through the actions of Christians. That is our purpose, our ‘job’ as disciples.

Treat each day as one that brings hope. This can be accomplished in many ways. Serve the Lord Jesus as best you can wherever you may be and whatever you may be doing. All things can be done to bring glory to Him if we focus on God in Christ.

Show the clarity, purity, warmth, life, and brightness you experience as a Child of God, as a Christian, to everyone you come in contact with today and every day. Bring an atmosphere of love, hope, and mercy to this world. It is all possible because of the greatness of our Lord. Stay centered in the cause of Christ and His church.
