Two decades of renovation have been completed and now the time has come for a re-opening to occur. You may be wondering exactly what re-opening this might be. It is not some highway project that has been completed, it is not a house renovation, not a company re-structure, nor a historic hotel. It is a the completion of the renovation of Amenhotep III’s tomb

in Egypt. The tomb was re-opened on Saturday, October 4, 2025. This announcement comes before the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum set to open November 1st.

Amenhotep III ruled, it is supposed, around the time of the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt. That is the significance for followers of God in Christ. This shows how Biblical history aligns with secular accounts. Another proof that the Bible is based in truth and is indeed the revealed Word of God, God-breathed (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Another fact, that must not be ignored, is that all the tombs of the pharaohs contained mummified remains at one time. The tomb of the Lord Jesus Christ contained the linens that His body was wrapped in and nothing more.

Believing the Bible to be accurate in many ways, helps to build an unshakeable faith in the God of Heaven and His only Begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. May we all continue to strive daily to know Him and be obedient to Him.
