What a great time to be a Christian! Today, there are more opportunities to influence others in many ways. We have the world at our fingertips, so to speak. Someone halfway around the world can read a post or see that you are checking in at your local congregation. The potential to reach souls with the saving message of Jesus Christ has never been better. 

Why would the church not be growing then, if there is such an opportunity for it? There can be many reasons. Might I suggest a few:

1. Technology messages alone will not suffice.

2. Relying only on technology can remove personal involvement out of the picture, if we are not careful.

3. Complacency can set in and nothing further will be done.

Perhaps more could be listed, but that suffices for now. The point is not to ignore or not use technology to help in spreading the good news. Certainly all good tools should be utilized. However, technology alone is not the answer. There must be personal involvement by Christians. 

May Christians remember how rapidly the Way spread in the first century. Those Christians went everywhere preaching and teaching the gospel. Both to crowds and to individuals. That method is a tried and true one. That method has a proven track record and should not ever be abandoned.

Today, there is success story after success story of one on one Bible study leading to a soul converting to the Lord’s church and becoming a child of God.

Dear Christian, begin today, look for opportunities to lead someone to the Lord. Do not rely only on them finding some website that teaches the gospel. May all Christians seek to use all they can to teach and bring the lost to Christ.
