Silly Laws

Some laws have been made that seem strange. For instance it is a law in Gainesville, Georgia that fried chicken e eaten only with your hands. It is illegal in Montana to give a rat as a gift. Here in Missouri there is a law prohibiting bear wrestling. This writer likes all of these laws, by the way.

There are many more silly or quirky laws like this and some may have had a good reason for somebody to bring about. However, some that are in the books seem to be rather silly or just common sense. I mean, come on fried chicken being eaten with a fork and knife?

Ludicrous, in my opinion.

Human lawmakers may come up with some off-beat ideas when it comes to civil law, but not all the laws are quirky. But when it comes to the commands and teaching of God there is nothing quirky or ludicrous at all.

God knows what is best for everyone. His commands are always good and right. When a person studies, learns, and knows His ways, His commands, and His law then they can know the way to be right in His sight.

Please study the Bible more and more to learn the way that God would have you to live and thrive while on this earth. If done properly and faithfully, He will reward you with eternal life in heaven. There is nothing quirky about that.
