Ladies Day 2026 Pacific church of Christ

April 26, 2026 a youth rally was held in our building. Yesterday, May 2, 2026, there was a Ladies Day. A time for the sisters in Christ to gather. They did gather and they were taught, they sang songs, had prayers, ate a meal together and enjoyed encouraging one another. (This is being written ahead of time, like the article on the Youth Rally.)

The Bible clearly teaches that men are to be the leaders in the local congregation. That does not mean that women are inferior. It simply means they have a different role to fulfill.

When a Ladies Day is held, the men do not attend, it is for the women of the church to meet and become closer to each other as sisters in Christ.

The ladies in my family always enjoy these types of events and are so uplifted. Other events are meant to be uplifting as well, but most ladies I know will tell you that days like this are a special time.

All members of the church have a place, a role, and a responsibility to honor God in the best way. As we all labor together to bring glory to God, may each of us do our part to the very best of our ability.

Growing spiritually is an important aspect of the Christian walk (2 Peter 3:18). Please encourage the ladies and all members to keep on keeping on the narrow path that leads to life (Matthew 7:13-14).
